Jomar Castro | Provide Cars In the beginning...Jomar was born and raised in Manila, in the Philippines. He went to school in MIST Marikina. After graduating he worked in one of the biggest electrical companies in Manila, the Meralco Theater as lights technician. He met his bride, Anna Lissa, before moving to Japan in 2001.A chance to work in Japan...When Jomar first arrived in Japan he worked at part-time jobs around the Kansai area before working as a carpenter and electrician for a missionary family in Nishinomiya, Kansai, Japan. Jomar met Jon French when he built his house. While he was a carpenter he occasionally did part-time jobs for Jon French. Eventually Jon French invited him to join the Provide Cars team, as a live auction bidder in 2004.
Truck inspections ...One Christmas when Jomar returned home to celebrate Christmas, he dropped into Subic bay and met some of the truck importers. This is where a long term relationship started with some of the truck importers. Jomar now goes every week to inspect trucks for the Philippine market as well as other customers. When he is not working ...When Jomar is not working at Provide, he likes to spend his time playing basketball with his fellow Filipino friends here in Japan. He also loves being involved with his family, taking them along to the auctions sometimes. He is also a passionate photographer, as you can see on his facebook page.
